How to Choose the Right Supplement Contract Manufacturer for Blister Packs
1. Verify GMP Certification and FDA Registration
This is non-negotiable. Any contract manufacturer you consider for blister pack production must hold cGMP certification (compliant with 21 CFR Part 111 for dietary supplements) and be registered with the FDA.
GMP certification means the facility follows documented procedures for every production step, maintains batch records, conducts in-process testing, and investigates deviations.
Ask for the manufacturer’s FDA registration number and most recent third-party GMP audit certificate. A reputable co-packer will share these without hesitation.
